Yep, Rodea: The Sky Soldier still looks beautiful

If there’s one videogame trope that I’m a sucker for, it’s floating islands. It’s part of the reason why I love Jumping Flash! 2 and Skies of Arcadia, and it’s the same reason why I think Rodea: The Sky Soldier looks amazing.

Set for the 3DS and Wii U at some point, this resurrected Wii project now has some extra footage to ogle at, and I’m really digging the giant boss fights and constant flight. It looks like you’ll basically be able to fly the entire game without limitations, and the level of freedom is incredible.

We have word from the publisher that we can expect news about a localization “soon.”
