Nintendo is holding a ‘Girls Game Museum’ event

Aimed to expand its female audience

Nintendo is no stranger to marketing directly to women, and in Japan, it’s holding a special event that’s basically one giant marketing campaign. It’s called the Nintendo Girls Museum, and will be held at the Aeon Mall Makuhari Shintoshin from July 18-20 and again from August 1-2.

Playable games include Puzzle & Dragons, The Great Ace Attorney, Hoppe-chan, 12 Sai ~Honto no Kimochi, Style Savvy 3, Rhythm Heaven 3DS, and Yoshi’s Woolly World. Evidently, in addition to demos there will be “cute items” for sale. Uh, I would totally attend this — we don’t get Yoshi’s Woolly World  until October in the US.
