As a killer, Michael might feel overpowered in Halloween: The Game, but your chances of success will largely depend on the abilities you’re using. While there are plenty of abilities to pick from, some are simply better than the rest. They’re either overpowered, or you’ll rely on them frequently.

Best abilities to use as Michael in Halloween: The Game

For this guide, I have considered all the abilities that Michael has. If you’re yet to unlock the full kitty, you’ll need to do that first.

Blackout

A Civilian’s first task is to escape you, and to do so, they will often rely on different equipment. Blackout allows you to disable those pieces of tech. Moreover, you can also fry the engine of a car with this ability. This will force Civilians to disband the car and seek an alternative to escape.

Detection Pulse

Detection Pulse is an absolute cheat code when it comes to finding Civilians on the map. It not only marks victims, but also showcases occupied buildings (so anyone hiding inside will also reveal their location).

While the reveals are temporary, it’s strong enough to be part of Michael’s build.

Reality Tear

Shadow Jump is Michael’s strongest base skill since you can use it in offense and defense. With Reality Tear, you can trigger Shadow Jump at any given moment. You can use it to reduce your distance with a victim running away. You can also use it to escape tight situations if you’re caught in light, for example.
