In a somewhat surprising and quick announcement at the 3DS Press Conference, a new Mario Tennis was revealed for the 3DS. The only details Nintendo shared was that the game was going to have a way to play using the gyroscope and that it will be arriving in 2012.
There was a short demonstration of gameplay that did get me quite excited, as Mario Tennis is always a good time. I’m again just worried about the gyroscope mode. I’m really curious to see how it’s even going to work for a freaking tennis game. Will we have to swing our 3DS like a racket, rendering the actual screen not viewable? I guess we’ll have to wait and see when Nintendo decides to roll out more details in the future.
