I haven’t actively followed Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom since its announcement in January, but that has worked out fine. It’s back on my radar today with a debut gameplay trailer.
Monster Boy is a side-scrolling action title similar to Sega’s well-liked Wonder Boy / Monster World games. In fact, the creator of that series, Ryuichi Nishizawa, is on board for this project.
Nice to see this style of game live on, huh?
With this video out, expect to see more frequent updates as the marketing push begins in 2016.
