Dragon Quest VIII on 3DS has a new dungeon, ending

‘Surprise developments’

Dragon Quest VIII was released all the way back in 2004 on PS2, but its legacy has withstood the test of time. It’s still regarded as one of the best entries in the series, and later this year in Japan, it will hit the 3DS.

Now we have a bit more info on some enhanced features, like the fact that it will feature a new dungeon and a new ending, according to Jump Magazine. Said dungeon will be unlocked after you complete the game (hopefully it’ll have a superboss!), and it’s called the “Ultimate Trial.”

Once Square Enix officially announces a localization, I’ll be counting down the days.
