In total, there are nine hidden green chests scattered around the Honeyglow Woods area in DDV. Five of these chests are found throughout the Honeyglow Woods biomes you unlock, while the other four are tucked away inside different sections of the Everoak Tree.

To get them all, you’ll need access to every part of Honeyglow Woods, and a few Royal Tool upgrades acquired as you explore. Because of this, it’s a good idea to focus on working your way through the full storyline before you go hunting for the chests.

Here’s a full breakdown of where to find every secret Honeyglow Woods green chest.

  • 1 – A green chest that has the Honeyglow Glider inside can be found in the upper right corner of the Drowsybloom Acre biome. This chest is in the wall right behind the spot where your house initially starts off in this region. You can open this chest using one piece of Driftwood.
  • 2 – The second green chest contains a Yellow Raincoat and can be found inside the first section of the Everoak Tree, which you can enter from the Drowsybloom Acre biome. You gain access to this area during the Interlude: The Misplaced Honey quest. The chest is in a small alcove area on your right side as soon as you enter. It’ll be blocked by some Tree Resin log spots at first, so continue progressing through the main storyline in Honeyglow Woods until you reach the Chapter 6: A Place for Eeyore quest. During this mission, you craft and unlock the Amber Brushwoods Pickaxe Upgrade, which allows you to break the pesky rock spots blocking the chest.
  • 3 – The next green chest, which has a Blooming Knitted Cardigan, can be found in the upper left corner of the Drowsybloom Acre region, close to the bridge that leads up to the Braveheart Grove region. This one can be freed from the wall using a piece of Driftwood.
  • 4 – A green chest containing a Sunny Picnic Dress can be found near the very north end of the Gloommeadow biome. You’ll find this chest in the wall right by the ramp that leads up to the Braveheart Grove region. You’ll need a piece of Driftwood to open this chest.

  • 5 – The next green chest features the Summer Blossom Braids hairstyle and can be found inside the second section of the Everoak Tree region, which is accessed from the Gloommeadow biome during the Interlude 2: The Gloomy Hollow quest. This chest can be found behind some large Tree Resin log spots on the right side of Eeyore’s puzzle. Continue progressing through the main storyline until you reach the Chapter 8: The Little Big Forest quest. During this mission, you’ll make the Prickle-Popper Potion for your Royal Shovel, which can then be used to clear away the obstacles blocking this green chest.
  • 6 – A green chest with some Striped Busy Bees’ Socks can be found in the upper left corner of the Braveheart Grove region. This chest is trapped inside the rocky wall, which means you need a piece of Driftwood to free it.
  • 7 – You can find a green chest containing the Honeybee Gold Earrings in the third section of the Everoak Tree, which you venture into during the Interlude 3: The Shadowy Surprise quest. This portion of the tree is entered from the Braveheart Grove biome. It’s tucked away in a corner area behind the puzzle in the middle of the room. You can use your Royal Pickaxe to clear away the Tree Resin log spots blocking it in as long as you have the Amber Brushwoods Pickaxe Upgrade unlocked.
  • 8 – The green chest that contains the Cozy Acorn Beret can be found in the Nectar Apiary biome. This is perhaps the toughest one to find, as the chest is almost completely buried in the rock wall near the east end of the biome. If you’re struggling to spot it, remove all trees placed near the wall area marked on the map above. This one can be opened using Driftwood.
  • 9 – A chest with a Honeybee Gold Necklace inside can be found in the fourth and final section of the Everoak Tree. The entrance to this area can be accessed from the Nectar Apiary region during the Interlude 4: Curiosity Satisfied quest. You’ll find this one on the left side of the stairs leading up to the cooking station where you need to cook the Hedgehog Treat. This one is the easiest to gain access to, as it’s only blocked by some corrupted Honey Swirls, which you can quickly clear away using magic.
