It’s time to help Piglet become less scared of the outdoors during Disney Dreamlight Valley Honeyglow Woods’ Chapter 8: The Little Big Forest quest. While he’s understandably scared of all the fog around, we’re going to help him clear it away so the woods can sound peaceful again.

How to complete Chapter 8: The Little Big Forest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After completing Chapter 7: A Voice Behind the Door, you’ll immediately begin this mission as you speak to Piglet about the newfound dangers of Honeyglow Woods’ fog. You’ll walk around with him in an attempt to find some of the missing sounds within the forest.

Craft the Chime Arch and Buzzing Hive Cluster

As you walk around the forest with Piglet, he’ll lead you to multiple spots with missing sounds. In particular, he’ll mention the lack of bird chirps and bee buzzing in two separate spots. You’ll need to craft a Chime Arch and Buzzing Hive Cluster to help generate these sounds again.

You’ll need the following resources for both items:

  • Sweet Chestnut (5)
  • Oak Leaves (6)
  • Soft Limestone (5)
  • Yellow & Orange Foxglove (5)
  • Yellow Thistle (3)
  • Tree Resin (5)
  • Golden Honey (8)
  • Honey Agate (4)

Most of these resources are ones we’ve collected throughout Honeyglow Woods’ main storyline already, with Yellow & Orange Foxglove and Yellow Thistle being two new resources. They’re both flowers that can spawn anywhere in Honeyglow Woods, making them a common resource if you get lucky with your flower spawn rates. Otherwise, you may need to do a quick sweep or two across Drowsybloom Acre, Gloommeadow, and Braveheart Grove until you find the flowers you need.

Similarly, if you’re running low on Golden Honey, double check that your Busy Bee hives have flowers around them. Since flowers dry out quicker here than in your Valley Village, they may have disappeared if you haven’t watered them recently. You can also search around for Busy Bee boxes to build a couple extra beehives.

Once you have all eight materials, head to your crafting station to make the Chime Arch and Buzzing Hive Cluster. You’ll then need to place both somewhere within Braveheart Grove before returning to Piglet.

Craft a Prickle-Popper Potion

Unfortunately for Piglet, the Chime Arch and Buzzing Hive Cluster didn’t help make the forest sound more natural. The two of you walk around more before Piglet starts to feel anxious, leading to the two of you visiting his special spot.

He asks you to find very important instructions in his house, which reveal the recipe for a Prickle-Popper Potion that’ll help you clear away the stumps blocking access to the pound. You’ll need the following materials to make the potion:

  • Rose & Cream Foxglove (5)
  • Purple & White Foxglove (5)
  • Driftwood (5)
  • Shiny Honey Agate (2)
  • Truffle (5)

Like before, much of this task is clearing away flowers and waiting for more to spawn, destroying stumps for driftwood, and mining rock spots for Shiny Honey Agate. You’ll also need to keep an eye out for truffles growing out of the ground in the biomes you visit.

After acquiring all five items, return to your crafting station to make a Prickle-Popper Potion. Using it in your inventory will let you clear the large Twistroots surrounding the Babbling Pond you visited with Piglet while also replenishing your Driftwood supply.

Fix the broken Babbling Pond

Now that we’ve cleared away the large Twistroots, it’s time to fix the pond. You’ll need the following resources to repair it:

  • Soft Limestone (15)
  • Tree Resin (10)
  • Driftwood (10)
  • Honey Agate (4)
  • Oak Leaves (10)

After embarking on this third fetch quest, return to the Babbling Pond and use the materials to repair it. Unfortunately for us, this has some unexpected consequences that we’ll need to resolve by visiting the Everoak Tree. As you approach the entrance and talk to Piglet, you’ll complete Chapter 8: The Little Big Forest and immediately start Chapter 9: How to Meet a Best Friend (Again).
