Theatrhythm OST finally coming, spans five discs

A little late, but still worth your attention

Theatrhythm is still one of my favorite games for the 3DS, and probably even my iPhone. It would make sense, given the game’s focus on music, that a soundtrack album would have be released, but it’s eluded us… until now.

While most of the in-game music is borrowed directly from the original titles featured, there are some remixes that you hear on the title screen and other menus. I’m most looking forward to these, which will apparently be housed on their own disc, but fans can also look forward to a kind of “best of” collection featuring a disc dedicated to event, field, and battle scenes as well as the Chaos Shrine.

The five-disc album is being released on July 31, 2013 for a fair (by Japanese standards) price of 3,800 Yen ($37 USD), and can be pre-ordered from CD Japan.

Are you still interested in a soundtrack release for this game after all this time? Have any favorite tracks that you think make this collection worthwhile?
