3-party co-op title Bombanana! is not any monkey business despite you and your buddies playing as three monkeys. After all, you three are no ordinary primates. Together, you have to defuse a bomb within the time limit, and doing that isn’t easy.
In this guide, I will help you figure out how to solve the levels and defuse the bombs.
Complete Bombanana! walkthrough
In the full version of Bombanana!, you have 30 different levels. The tests will get harder the more you progress. You can also try out the Infinite mode, but this guide is geared towards completing the standard puzzles.
Interestingly, there’s a bit of randomness to certain levels in terms of what puzzles you will face. However, the puzzle structure will always remain the same, and so will the method to solve them.
Level 1
First up, you’ll come up against a bomb with three/four cables. Each cable will have a different color. Assuming you’re the deaf one, observe the color of the bulb and call it out. Also declare the number of cables (three or four).

The mute player will need to check the module and figure out which wire to cut. Here’s a quick cheat sheet.
Three Wires
| Bulb Color | Target Cable |
|---|---|
| Green | Yellow |
| Red | Blue |
| Yellow | Red |
| Blue | Green |
Four Wires
| Bulb Color | Target Cable |
|---|---|
| Green | Red |
| Red | Green |
| Yellow | Blue |
| Blue | Yellow |
Occasionally, a module can show a different set of patterns. In that case, the player who is mute will have to follow what’s on their module. The basic pattern of solving the puzzle remains the same. How do you do the important task?
The deaf player will have to call out one color at a time. The player who is mute will need to nod their head accordingly. This is the easiest way for the deaf player to figure out what the correct cable is.
Once done, just call out the position of the cable for your blind buddy, who will be able to see an outline.
Level 2

The second puzzle will involve a set of four color sliders. To solve the puzzle, you have to move all sliders correctly. You have to do so in a single sequence, since a mistake along the way will reset your progress.
The mute player will have a module open in front of them. The module will have four colors and arrow indicators which will either point upwards or downwards.
Once the deaf player calls out a color, the player who is mute will have to refer to the module. Here’s how you can find out the answer quickly:
- If the color you have called out requires an indicator to go downwards, the player who has the module should use the negative emoji.
- If the color you have called out requires an indicator to move upwards, they should use the thumbs up emoji.
This is the easiest way to figure out the correct direction in which the slider should move.
Level 3
In the third level, you’ll essentially combine the first two puzzles and solve them simultaneously.
Level 4

In the fourth level, you’ll have to solve a combination of Color Slider puzzle and Direction puzzle. We already know how to solve the Color Slider puzzle, so let’s figure out the other one.
First, the blind player has to see the number on the terminal. Only they can see it since it’s in Braille. The deaf player can observe the color of the light bulb, and they have to call it out.
The mute player has to now check the module and find the correct direction button based on the color of the light bulb and the number displayed in Braille.
| Braille digit | Green | Yellow | Blue | Red |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | L | D | R | U |
| 2 | U | L | D | R |
| 3 | R | U | U | L |
| 4 | L | D | R | U |
| 5 | R | U | U | L |
| 6 | D | R | L | U |
| 7 | U | L | D | R |
| 8 | D | R | L | U |
| 9 | L | R | U | D |
The pattern might be different on your module, but the methodology will be same.
Level 5

For the fifth level, you’ll have the Color Slider once more and a new Calculator puzzle. For this puzzle, the blind player and the deaf player has to work together.
The deaf player has to call out the equation. In my playthrough, it was 67+2, which is equal to 69. The blind player has to press the correct buttons to solve the first stage.
Next, a bulb will glow up. The deaf player has to now observe the color and call it out. The mute player with the module has to use the following values to come across the correct answer.
| Equation Result | Red | Green | Yellow | Blue |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Even | 5 | 9 | 0 | 1 |
| Odd | 3 | 2 | 7 | 0 |
In my case, the equation’s answer was 69, which is an odd number. The color of the bulb was Green. Hence, the second correct digit was 9 (Green and Odd).
Do this correctly in a singular sequence, and you’ll solve the fifth level.
