After taking all of a few days off, Atlus is back in action dropping character trailers for their chibified RPG sequel Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth, currently preparing for launch on Nintendo 3DS.

Today’s trailer focuses on Persona 3’s Ken Amada, one of the youngest playable characters in the popular series of anime adventures. Despite his cheerful outlook and wide-eyed youth, Ken has a particularly dark backstory, spurred on by an incessant desire for revenge. This vengeful quest sets him on a coming-of-age path that occasionally goes to some morbid places.

Also, he wears these dopey knee-high socks. Look at them.

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth, launches in Japan on Nintendo 3DS November 29. Unfortunately there is yet to be word of a Western release, but giving the quick localisation of titles such as Persona 5 and Persona Dancing, we shouldn’t have too long to wait, hopefully.
