Operation Moonfall plans to get Majora’s Mask on 3DS

Operation Rainfall has thus far failed to get The Last Story and pals localized for the West, but a new group has appropriated the name and plans for a potentially more achievable goal. The brilliantly named Operation Moonfall is a bid to get Majora’s Mask on 3DS, and that’s a cause we can all believe in!

The movement was encouraged with a little help from Nintendo’s Eiji Aonuma, who had recently said that the Zelda game could get a 3DS remaster if there was sufficient fan support. Hence, Moonfall was born in an attempt to make that support known.

Fans are emailing Nintendo at [email protected], phoning 800-255-3700 and signing this petition to get things moving. Fan site Zelda Universe is leading the charge, so keep an eye on them if you’re interested in how this develops.

The campaign has just started, but it’s going well so far. I want it to succeed, if for no other reason than that perfect name.
