It’s crazy when an indie farming game gets more hype than some major first-party releases, but that’s where we’re at with Stardew Valley launching on the Switch.
No, the multiplayer update isn’t coming until 2018, but at least it’s here. Other Switch launches this week include Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle, Tiny Barbarian DX, Ninja Shodown, Symphony of Eternity, Axiom Verge, Volgarr the Viking (also on Wii U), Tumblestone, Earth Atlantis, ACA NeoGeo: Metal Slug X, and Oxenfree.
The 3DS is getting at least one big release with Culdcept Revolt, on top of Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions and Layton’s Mystery Journey.
If you missed last week’s edition, here it is. As for what I’m getting, I already finished Mario & Luigi, but I’m interested in checking out the polarizing new Layton. For those who are interested, sales are going on for all platforms.
