Nintendo Badge Arcade seems to be doing well for Nintendo

I’m still fiddling with Nintendo Badge Arcade, earning free icons whenever I can, but I totally get the backlash that’s been happening in some regions. I mean, the game is rather aggressive with how it monetizes players, which can cause all sorts of issues for younger kids.

All the same, Nintendo seems to be doubling down on it, offering up Badge Arcade themed point cards in Japan, and heavily advertising it on its official site. Usually when Nintendo isn’t happy with something it slowly backs away from it, but I doubt Badge Arcade will be slowing down anytime soon.
