Nintendo is pretty good about being a “family friendly” company, and it likes to promote a clean, vulgarity-free environment. As such, the Nintendo 3DS warns against using rude names or words in online portions of the game and has a filter to make sure its autocomplete doesn’t suggest naughty words.
Naturally, I discovered a hole in Nintendo’s defenses within minutes.
While trying to type “EKANS” as my status message, I stumbled upon “Ejaculation” — a word that has apparently escaped Nintendo’s filter. You can’t get Sperm or even Semen to show up — but the process of shooting that substance right out the end of your cock is apparently perfectly acceptable. For the record, typing “Cock” only gives you “Cocktail.”
It is possible the word got through thanks to its lesser known meaning, but this doesn’t hold true for other words that autocomplete blocks, and when we say “Ejaculation”, you know what we’re talking about. Because this is a case of JOURNALISM, we shall extensively follow this up to find out!
