Majora’s Mask 3D adds fishing, other stuff probably

?I know that the world is about to end, but here I am fishing. Awesome!?

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D isn’t just getting a new coat of paint, it’s also getting some groundbreaking enhancements. You know, like fishing minigames.

“We’ve added fishing ponds. Two of them,” Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma told Weekly Famitsu. “There might be something monstrous you could fish out, so please look forward to it.”

Aonuma seems to find this quite amusing. So do I. Players can neglect saving the world to sit back, relax, and cast a line while certain doom inches ever nearer. This is fantastic.

Of course there will be some more utilitarian changes, including tweaks to boss fights, alterations to how certain systems are communicated, and new controls. Plus, there will be unique features in store for players using a New Nintendo 3DS system, though Aonuma wouldn’t detail them.
