Euro peeps get a special Fire Emblem-themed 3DS XL
Our friends across the pond were treated to a slightly different Nintendo Direct then we were. Amongst the European-exclusive announcements was a trio of hardware bundles for the upcoming Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Fire Emblem: Awakening.
When MH3U hits on March 22, both the Wii U and 3DS versions will have their own special sets. The Wii U set is identical to the one that launched last year in Japan, which includes a Deluxe console, a copy of the game, and a Pro Controller. On the portable front, users can purchase a black 3DS XL with MH3U pre-installed; though it’s not part of the bundle, the 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro will also go on sale the very same day.
American Fire Emblem fans have been enjoying Awakening for a week now — if you can find a copy, that is — while Europeans have to sit tight until April 19. The wait will be worth it as you’ll be able to snag a blue Fire Emblem-themed 3DS XL that likewise has the game preloaded.
No word on whether any of these will show up here. The ZombiU bundle finally made it, so I wouldn’t rule anything out.
