European Club Nintendo members can now earn eShop Stars

Wii U and 3DS at the forefront of promotion

Some time ago, Nintendo started allowing easy rewards through linking your Club Nintendo account with your Wii U and 3DS in North America. Basically, you just buy games from the eShop, and the reward surveys would just pop up in your account, allowing you to earn Coins for digital or physical items. This convenient system (which uses Stars rather than Coins) has been completely absent in Europe however — that is, until now.

Nintendo enthusiast NintenDaan recently discovered that he could earn Stars for eShop purchases, which was later confirmed by multiple sources. Basically, just link your account, log into Club Nintendo, and after a delay, the surveys will be readily available. That’s it.

Now if Nintendo would only get to work on linking your 3DS and Wii U entirely with a global account
