E3: Nintendo releases Link’s Awakening for 3DS eShop

Nintendo just barely got the 3DS eShop out the night before their E3 press conference, but they’ve got a nice surprise for all of you downloading the update this morning. The Virtual Console for the system has gone live with its first title, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX for Game Boy Color. In fact, the game will be available for purchase later today!

As of press time, Nintendo hasn’t announced what the game’s price will be, but I’m sure many of you won’t care. Link’s Awakening is an underrated classic in the series, and I’ll certainly be buying it once I get a 3DS. Will you be picking it up later today?
