Highway to Hell…
Doom for Switch is pretty much the port that should not be. How is it possible that one of the largest games of 2016 (from a storage perspective) can even fit on a system with such limited capacity, not to mention on a retail cartridge? Aren’t Switch’s not even powerful enough to run Doom? Somehow, someway, Bethesda and Panic Button (this port’s developer) made the dream come true.
Doom on Switch will be launching on November 10. Even if you have no interest, this is monumental for being the first first-person shooter on Nintendo’s new platform. It may also be the most violent game on Nintendo’s hybrid, which is neat.

Nintendo is also commemorating the occasion with an interview with ID Software. It doesn’t provide that much in the way of new information, but its always great to see the passion that ID had for creating this reinvention of Doom.
