DNF Duel still isn’t done introducing warriors, here’s Swift Master

He’s Like the Wind

With the arrival of each recent DNF Duel character trailer, I’ve been left thinking “That’s probably about it” and yet publisher Nexon continues to surprise us with more and more pugilists debuting in the flashy-looking fighter — Today sees the arrival of the young and powerful mage: Swift Master.

As demonstrated in the above trailer, Swift Master holds fearsome control over the winds, which he uses to manipulate and confuse his opponent on the battlefield. Of diminutive stature and mischievous nature, Swift Master’s battle plan appears to involve using bursts of air to attract, deflect, and launch his opponent, following up with an array of air combos and juggle-enhanced specials. Swift Master looks very set-play based, and as such may prove to be one of DNF Duel‘s more complex but dangerous characters.

With the arrival of Swift Master, the DNF Duel roster has reached a healthy total of 14 highly unique characters, which is nothing to be sniffed at when it comes to an underdog, untested fighting IP. While the launch of the Dungeon Fighter Online spin-off is bearing down on us, there remains plenty of time for Nexon and Arc System Works to introduce us to more of its hard-hitting, (and compellingly hot), roster.

DNF Duel will launch on PlayStation and PC platforms June 28 — after you take a look at Swift Master, why not check out the previous character trailers for Berserker, Grappler, Hitman, Inquisitor, Striker, Ranger, Dragon Knight, Vanguard, Kunoichi, Crusader, Ghostblade, Launcher, and Troubleshooter.
