Art Juice: Mario Fart

Recommended Videos

[Every week (until I get bored), Art Juice takes a recent videogame story and provides an unremittingly artistic slant, telling us a little something about ourselves in the process … whether we want to know the truth or not!]

To celebrate the release of our Mario Kart 7 review, I have used timely imagery providing contemporary context with this week’s artistic rendering. As you can see, this particular painting accurately depicts the current state of America’s world politics. That is definitely what I am going for here.

The delight on Mario’s face as he lets loose a belting guster from his quivering chocolate portal represents the state of blissful ignorance that today’s American population toils under. This ignorance bellows forth from his puckered spicehole, blasting Toad in the face. Toad, as any layman knows, is portraying the government, swallowing the stinking joy of its people with glee.

They are nude, of course, to betray how they really feel behind their veneer of expressed amusements. For indeed, while Americans radiate beaming smiles and communicated contented emotions, they feel incredibly naked underneath. Exposed and insecure.

Mario Fart, ladies and gentlemen.
