Tile puzzles are some of the trickiest trials you’ll encounter around the valley, as you’re generally not given any guidance for them, so it’s quite difficult to determine what image you’re meant to be making. If this task has you stumped, here’s how to solve Eeyore’s Interlude tile puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

During the Interlude 2: The Gloomy Hollow quest, there are two versions of Eeyore’s tile puzzle you need to solve. The solution for this puzzle looks vastly different depending on which step you’re on.

Either way, though, your goal is to use your Royal Shovel to flip the tiles until you form a complete picture. Here’s a full breakdown of what needs to be done to successfully finish Eeyore’s tile puzzle both times.

Solve the puzzle on the ground

For the first version of Eeyore’s tile puzzle, your goal is to form an image depicting Winnie the Pooh and Piglet standing on either side of Eeyore giving him a hug. To achieve the right image, start by flipping the upper left and right corners until each one has a white star on it.

Once you’ve got the stars locked in, all you need to do is match up the rest of the tiles with the tiles that match them. Look for a light purple color on each section to properly line it all up.

If you’re struggling to get this first puzzle complete, here’s a full step-by-step breakdown of what to do with each tile. This only works if you haven’t flipped any of them yet, though.

  1. Flip the orange leaf tile until it displays part of Winnie the Pooh’s head.
  2. Flip the orange tile with Eeyore’s head until it has both Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore.
  3. Flip the center tile until it matches the same color as the ones surrounding it.
  4. Flip the raindrop tile that’s right next to the center one until it matches the images around it.
  5. Flip the bottom-left corner tile until you see both Eeyore’s tail and Winnie the Pooh’s foot.
  6. Flip the middle tile until it displays Eeyore’s legs and a star.
  7. Flip the bottom-right corner tile until it lines up with the rest of the puzzle.

Find the Missing Puzzle Tile in the Everoak Tree

Before you can begin Eeyore’s second tile puzzle, you have to find the Missing Puzzle Tile piece. This item can be fished out of a gold bubble spot in the nearby river. Once you find it, slot it into the second puzzle to officially get going.

Solve the new puzzle

For the second version of Eeyore’s tile puzzle, your goal is to line up an image of Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet sitting together on a grassy hill looking up at a vibrant rainbow in the sky. The best way to get started on this one is to flip the top three tiles until each one has a sun symbol with a rainbow background. Then, simply match up the rest of the tiles with them.

If you need help getting through this trial, here’s a full breakdown of how to get it done.

  1. Flip the blue cloud tile until it turns into an image that has a bit of a rainbow peeking out next to the sun.
  2. Flip the top-center tile with Eeyore’s back and a cloud until it also depicts a rainbow and sun.
  3. Flip the third cloud tile until it shows even more of the rainbow and sun.
  4. Flip the tile directly under the third one until it matches the color of the surrounding tiles.
  5. Flip the bottom-left tile with Eeyore’s tail until it lines up with the tiles surrounding it.
  6. Flip the bottom-right tile until the puzzle is complete, at which point a new potion will appear.
