Marvel Snap’s AXIS: Inversion September season reimagines heroes as villains, and vice versa

A whopping nine new cards will hit Marvel Snap in September 2026 for its AXIS: Inversion season, inverting heroes and villains and maybe even more.

Inverting good and evil? That’s very Marvel. With the multiverse at its disposal, Marvel Snap is turning heroes into villains and villains into heroes for the hell of it, and it sounds fun. What if Tony Stark went bad? What if Magneto and Carnage went fully good? That’s what these cards are all about.

  • Superior Iron Man (Premium Pass)
    • 5 Cost, 7 Power
      • “Double Cost reductions to this. Ongoing: Double Power increases to this.”
  • Anti-Polar Magneto (Super Premium Pass)
    • 6 Cost, 9 Power
      • “On Reveal: Add a 3 or 4-Cost card from your hand to each other location.”
  • Red Onslaught (Series 5 Snap Pack)
    • 4 Cost, 4 Power
      • “Ongoing: Has 3 random Ongoing abilities.”

  • Kluh (Series 5 Snap Pack)

  • Friendly Neighborhood Carnage (Series 5 Snap Pack)

  • The Inversion (Draft Limited Time Event Series 4)
    • 3 Cost spell
      • “On Reveal: Invert the Power of the lowest-Power card(s) here (positive becomes negative and vice versa).”
• Sept. 29
  • Scarlet Witch: Queen of Chaos (Series 5 Snap Pack)
    • 3 Cost, 4 Power
      • Start of Turn: Add an EXTREMELY random skill to your hand. It costs 0 this turn.

New playable locations are also coming, along with Twitch drops to earn a Premium Mystery Variant and more. The popular Draft mode returns later in the month on Sept. 28, and it’ll have a new scoring system along with it.
