Indie co-op racing title WheelMates is coming soon to PCs worldwide, and you won’t have to wait long to drive with your buddies. Developed by Firevolt, WheelMates allows you to fulfil your dreams of driving RC cars.

WheelMates release countdown
WheelMates goes live worldwide on Tuesday, Sept. 1. The release date was confirmed earlier by the publishers, and I am not expecting changes this late. The following countdown will expire once the game goes live.
The countdown is based on the following times.
- 9am PDT
- 11am CDT
- 12pm EDT
- 4pm UTC
- 5pm BST
- 6pm CEST
If there’s any change before launch, I will update the timings on this guide.
What to expect from WheelMates
WheelMates is a fun co-op adventure where you and your buddy answer a call from a professor who seeks your help. The two of you will take control of tiny RC cars and make your way through the maze-like laboratory to find out what has truly happened.
While the two of you race across the lab, you will come across several challenges that will test your driving skills. The true essence of the game is cooperation, not competition, and teamwork is essential. Solve different puzzles to make your way through the obstacles you will come across in the laboratory.
As you explore the lab, you’ll get plenty of different upgrades to improve your vehicles. Hence, you can expect a bit of build aspect in terms of how you shape up your RC vehicles.
WheelMates doesn’t have a demo to try out, you can wishlist it on Steam to stay on top of the upcoming launch.
