Monster Hunter 3G is the hot sh*t in Japan. The first week sales numbers are out, and it looks like Capcom’s latest for 3DS moved 471,055 units. Keep in mind that this “week” is only two days of data. The real first week sales numbers are going to be huge.
This release saw 3DS sales spike, pushing the weekly numbers above even launch week’s total sales. Andriasang says that Nintendo’s 3DS had its best week yet, moving 378,114 systems, beating out the 371,326 units from launch week earlier this year. The only other spike to even come close to this is when the price was dropped a few months back.
MonHun has helped the 3DS pass the three million sold mark, with 3,237,272 being the new total.
