Nintendo has dated the release of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition for September 28. If you own a Nintendo DSi, DSi XL, or 3DS, you’ll be able to grab the download for free until February 20, 2012.

I’m pumped about this myself, what with the multiplayer now playable wirelessly. According to Nintendo, Four Swords has been “enhanced with a new single-player mode.” Sure, awesome. Really, I’m just happy about having the chance to actually play the game to completion now.
