If you aren’t a fan of Japanese games, odds are you haven’t heard of Yumi’s Odd Odyssey. But for everyone else, Umihara Kawase (as it’s known in Japan) is a series platform games that has been around since 1994 — but never once got localized — until now.

It follows a girl who has a fishing line, which allows her to swing around various 2D planes — and it can get pretty technical at times due to the freedom that allows. We’ll finally be able to experience this ourselves on March 20th, when Yumi’s Odd Odyssey drops on the 3DS eShop.

It’s reasons like this that the eShop is truly great, delivering games we would have otherwise never seen. A note of warning though, this is a full retail game priced at $29.99.
