Coming later this year in Japan
Despite the fact that we don’t really have a whole lot of info regarding the franchise’s fate in the west, Yo-Kai Watch continues its domination in Japan. In addition to three core entries and multiple spinoffs, Yo-Kai Sangokushi is also coming this year in the east. It’s essentially a military strategy game, involving the unification of “Sakura Country” — of course, by way of the adorable Yo-Kai characters.
It’s being developed by Koei Tecmo, and although it was revealed late last month, now we have an exact release date of April 2. I sincerely hope that the series does well enough over here to warrant a localization of basically all of these interesting looking games Japan is getting.
I mean, a lot of our readers seem to care!
