Yo-Kai Watch Busters, unsurprisingly, was the top-selling game in Japan the other week, notching over 693,000 physical sales in its debut, according to the latest data from Media Create.

The Nintendo 3DS exclusive is the latest entry in Level-5’s Pokemon-like franchise, which has spent the last few years dominating the Japanese software charts.

Nintendo is localizing the first entry in the series for North American audiences this fall. Meanwhile, other partners are pushing comics, a television show, and toys with visions of world domination.
