Wow, the Phoenix Wright series is 15 years old? Okay

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice was just released internationally, a date that happens to sort of coincide with the 15th anniversary of the original game.

If you’re confused, it’s because the first Wright game was actually a Game Boy Advanced joint in Japan, which came out on October 12, 2001. It wasn’t until four years later that it actually hit the DS, and thus, reached its worldwide status of fame.

As I said in my review of Spirit of Justice, I could probably keep playing these forever. Capcom hasn’t tapped the well yet so to speak, and the eastern settings of several games provide a new fresh perspective that round out the American storylines.
