Wow, the Cat Mario Show is way more horrible than it sounds

The idea sounds good, the voices sound baaaaaaaaad

When you see it, you think, “Hey, puppet cat Mario, puppet cat Peach doing a cute puppet show. Cool.”

And then you hear it and oh my word please stop talking. I feel like companies are quite careful about their characters’ personal brand, but put them in a catsuit and all that caution and canon goes out the window, I guess. Also, this is the European eShop — the continent where ostensibly-Italian Mario is from — and it’s British accents?

If they’re making a non-British accented version, I hope they let me voice puppet cat Peach.
