‘Something about Paris and a hat…’
Happy Saturday, friends, and welcome once again to Whatcha Been Playing? Each and every Saturday I roll in here with three paragraphs, bleary eyes, and the promise of the weekend ahead. And while the number of these articles is long into three-figures, (without a single Saturday missed), it really warms my heart that you’re still showing out. Not just for the site, or for me, but for the community. Thanks a lot, folks. I hope that your week has been a good one and that this morning finds you well.
Not a whole lot of gaming this week. Outside of Tunche, I’ve mostly been trying to catch up with some of the hits from earlier in the year. GOTY season and all that. And it’s not just games I’m playing catch up with, as I also got around to watching both 007 epic (Two-forty… good lord) No Time to Die and Shang-Chi: The Legend of the Ten Rings — the latter being my first venture back into the MCU since Spider-Man: Far From Home, which feels five years ago. I enjoyed both films in different ways, but I still have a lot of titles to cross off of my “Most Missed of 2021” list. In fact, I ought to wind this article up and get back to it. No rest for the wicked, or even just the very naughty…
So I’m hoping, like me, that you all have a lot of fine things lined up for the weekend. And before you dive into your own time-fillers, don’t forget to dive into the comments and tell the community what video games have been taking up your spare time this week. Whether you’re sweeping up this year’s releases, hitting some brand new releases, or just racking up the kills in Halo Infinite. Come and tell us all Whatcha Been Playing. Then go and have yourselves a grand day, and remember that I love ya.
Have a wonderful weekend, from all of us at Destructoid.
