These two Japan-only Mario 3DS XL systems look great

Too bad they’re Japan-only and very limited

Flet’s is a Japanese internet provider with a terrible company name — Japan loves to put an apostrophe in everything. Flet’s has  junk signage all over the country and they try to get you to sign up for service in the weirdest ways. Last year they gave me Flet’s branded cheese curls to do so.

Nintendo has partnered with Flet’s for a very limited release of two Mario 3DS XL game systems. They both look great, but I really like the red-on-white Mario face one.

But, outside of some luck on Yahoo Auctions or something, you’ll never see these. It sounds like they’re very limited, and that you have to apply for service to even be able to buy one.

I’m not mad. I guess I should be happy with my Zelda 3DS. But I love that Luigi one so much that I can’t stop thinking about it. And now this Mario one.
