These select eShop games come with a Donkey Kong freebie

The cement factory finally returns

Nintendo has got a nice promotion (via Tiny Cartridge) that rewards eShop purchases of select games — Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Style Savy: Trendsetters, Crosswords Plus, Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone!, and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask — with a copy of Donkey Kong: Original Edition.

All you need to do is link your eShop account to your Club Nintendo account and buy one of those titles (that shouldn’t be too difficult) by January 6, 2013. You’ll get an email with a code redeemable for Original Edition some three to four weeks following your purchase.

Having spent more time with the arcade version of Donkey Kong than any other, I didn’t even realize that the Cement Factory level was cut depending on which port you played, so that makes this extra special. Oh, and since I won’t get another chance to bring this up anytime soon, those pans of cement sure did look like pies. It took me years and years to realize they weren’t.
