Theatrhythm theme song: Now available for fewer clicks

Recommended Videos

I’ve found that the more amazing technology becomes, the more and more spoiled people get. “Uhhhh, I have to press mute on a 5 second ad to get to my 20 minute long free internet video?”, “Waaaah, I have so sit through a 3 second loading screen on this 10 hour game that I just downloaded for $5?”, and “Oh God, I have to click on a link? A GOD DAMN LINK” are three of the complaints that I hear the most.

Well, for those of you who hate clicking links, but love clicking virtual play buttons, you’re in luck. I’ve got the theme music to Theatrhythm Final Fantasy (Square-Enix’s upcoming rhythm-action Final Fantasy spin-off for the 3DS) for you, now in embeddable video form. Jim posted this yesterday, but he only gave you a link to the game’s official website, so that means I love you more than he does.

As for the song itself, it’s a slightly weird take on a classic, thought I suppose the added percussion parts are necessary, considering the the game’s rhythm focused motif. My hope is that by the time it’s released, the game ends up playing like a cross between Patapon and classic Final Fantasy. So far, so good.
