Theatrhythm looks like the best Final Fantasy in years

The very first trailer for Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy has hit the Internet, and I’m of the mind that it looks like the most delightful Final Fantasy game to have come from Square’s smoke-billowing misery factories in years. I can certainly dig it. 

It basically looks like Elite Beat Agents with a Final Fantasy flavor, and that sounds great to me. I’m also really liking the fact it uses footage from the original games as well, thus exploiting the nostalgia whore in all of us. 

What do you reckon? Looking promising?
