The Smurfs 2: The Video Game stars evil Peter Molyneux

The Smurfs 2: The Video Game isn’t your typical licensed movie game chaff, thanks to what appears to be an appearance from 22 Cans’ Peter Molyneux as iconic Smurfs villain Gargamel. Molyneux of course is known for the Fable series, as well as the recent cube-tapping experiment Curiosity and the upcoming Godus. There also seems to have been some sort of eyebrow augmentation remiscent of Morgan Freeman in Dreamcatcher. It’s like someone drew them on with a dry erase marker.

Just for the record, I’m pretty sure that hideous automaton is not actually Peter Molyneux, but simply the fevered nightmare dream of some overworked, underpaid 3D modeller that had to churn out this licensed garbage with no time or budget. I’m sorry for everyone at Ubisoft and WayForward that had to work on this videogame. I’m just so sorry.

If you hate your children and want to give them night terrors of creepy Gargamel or that taxidermy-gone-wrong cat, The Smurfs 2: The Video Game is available on Xbox 360, Wii U, Wii, PS3 and 3DS.
