The New 3DS has a secret browser minigame

It’s Breakout but, wait, come back!

The New Nintendo 3DS — out now in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, and coming to the rest of the world presumably next year — has an upgraded web browser with a neat little Easter egg.

Now, I don’t know how in the world someone figured this out, but if you go to open a new page and tap out the beginning of the Super Mario Bros. theme song on the touch screen, you can play a Breakout-like game. Trying the Konami Code anywhere and everywhere, that I can understand, but the Mario theme? Makes me wonder what other secrets we’re missing out on.
