The KOTOR Collection is coming soon for PC

GameStop and Amazon have confirmed the existence of a PC exclusive Knights of the Old Republic collection, that consists of both KOTOR I and II. According to the listing, it’s set to drop on July 17th for $20. For those of you who haven’t gotten into the series yet, now seems to be a good time!

KOTOR I is one of my favorite games of all time. As long as you can put up with a dice-rolling battle system and some dated graphics, you’ll easily find out why it put Bioware back on the map after Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights.

As for the sequel, although it isn’t as good of an all-around experience as the first game, Obsidian’s KOTOR II isn’t bad. Just keep in mind that the PC version is broken in some parts (93 separate events, in fact) — the community mod project makes it much more enjoyable.
