The Eevee 3DS XL is officially revealed for Japan

It looks half ugly, half adorable

It seems as if the initial rumors were true, as Japan now has a real Pokemon themed Eevee-centric 3DS XL, set to make its way to stores pretty soon. Found by way of an advertisement at Pokemon Center Stores, the portable will apparently be very exclusive. How exclusive? Well, as in you need to get into a lottery to have the chance to buy it.

I’m not all that excited for it, personally. While the back has the always adorable Eevee plastered on it, the top is pretty damn ugly. As a mix of browns, it just screams “blah,” where they could have had the chance to represent all of Eevee’s evolutions (including the new one) in a really cool way.

Oh well, I’m really just wondering what the inevitable X and Y 3DS iterations will be.
