The best part about this Majora’s Mask 3D gyroscope demo is that you can turn the feature off

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D is out on February 13, 2015. I’ve completed it, and our review will come in February. I know, I know, but at least you’ll get a pre-launch review, right?!

This new video from Nintendo shows off the gyroscope aiming feature that was in Ocarina of Time 3D, compliments of Eiji Aonuma. The best part? You can turn off gyroscope controls entirely just like Ocarina, and the left analog stick is pretty damn effective.

During the DS and Wii era, Nintendo would have stubbornly forced us to use this “revolutionary” type of play control. Now with systems like the Wii U and the 3DS, we have actual options just in case we don’t prefer them.
