Take that! Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies out this fall

If crazy lawyer hijinks are wrong, I don’t want to be Wright

Formerly known only as Ace Attorney 5 in the west, the upcoming game in the wacky lawyer adventure series has a new name: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies. Not only that, but it will see its digital release in the North America and Europe this fall, not too far behind the Japanese release.

The trailer doesn’t tell us much we didn’t already know. Apollo Justice will appear in this game and Phoenix Wright’s new sidekick Athena Cykes will be able to read emotion within testimony and use that to her advantage. Still, it’s nice to have a release window and a name, though it’s a little disappointing that they didn’t go all the way with a triple-D subtitle for the 3DS. They could have added anything and it still would have been better than Dream Drop Distance.
