Take a look at Dead or Alive Dimensions’ Metroid stage

And that, my dear readers, is the sound of 3DS purchasers — more than just those already into Team Ninja’s brand of fighting games — collectively starting to care about Dead or Alive Dimensions. Such a thing shouldn’t be audible, but man, the people are fired up.

The upcoming 3DS fighter contains a Metroid level, complete with Ridley and a dash of Samus Aran. Will she be a playable character? Seems like a reasonable thing to do. One thing is for sure: you don’t want to be knocked off this stage.

On a slightly related note, this crossover caused me to remember that Dead or Alive 4 totally had a playable Spartan in it. You know, from Halo? What weird times those were.
