Swapnote’s Nikki to return in Nikki’s Travel Quiz

I miss Swapnote. I mean, it’s still around, but dropping SpotPass functionality has basically rendered it impotent. The thing is, even when it was fully functional, most of the messages I got came from Nikki, who I always assumed was a real person rather than a fictional character.

Real or not, it looks like Nikki is getting her own game, at least in Japan. Though we heard no mention of it in the North American announcement, the Japanese Club Nintendo site makes a brief mention of Nikki’s Travel Quiz, which will be available for 80 Club Nintendo points. It is not clear if Nikki’s latest 3DS offering will make it to Western markets, but here’s hoping.
