The time has finally come — Nintendo has revealed when Super Mario Bros. 3 is hitting the Wii U and 3DS Virtual Console — and that date is…April 17th! This is most likely a last minute push to get it on the marketplace so it can be advertised in NES Remix 2.

Other games are on the way as well, including Advance Wars, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Metroid Fusion — all of them are hitting on April 3rd, and they’ll be priced at $7.99. On April 10th you’ll get Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, as well as WarioWare, Inc. Mega Microgame$, both of which will be $6.99.

On April 17th you’ll get Super Mario Bros. 3, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, and Golden Sun. April 24th sees the release of Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3. Everything here but Mario 3 is for the Wii U only.
