Story of Seasons has sold more than 100,000 units in North America since its March 31 release, XSEED Games revealed today, trumpeting the farming sim as its fasting-selling game thus far.

The announcement follows one made in November 2012, when the publisher called The Last Story (a Mistwalker-developed RPG Nintendo of America passed on) its “most successful title to date.”

For comparison’s sake, XSEED notes Rune Factory 4 has sold 160,000 copies since October 2013.

The studio has plans to follow up these successes by bringing another farming sim to market this winter in Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale, a Nintendo 3DS-exclusive crossover between Yohsuke Tamori’s PopoloCrois manga series and Marvelous’ Bokujo Monogatari games.
