Square Enix producer wants Theatrhythm to become a series

Theathrythm Final Fantasy game producer Ichiro Hazama told Silconera in an interview that he would like continue making the same type of themed rhythm game as a series.

“Personally, I hope this will become a series, but Theatrhythm Hitman will probably be really far off.”

That would be the worst game ever. But Theatrhythm Dragon Quest? Yes, please!

Hazama continues: “There are many series that I would want to work on for Theatrhythm. Dragon Quest has a lot of music and Kingdom Hearts would be wonderful to do if it’s possible. I’m not to familiar with the Eidos collection, but Tomb Raider has a long history so it must have a great collection of songs. That might be fun.”

Yes! Do a Kingdom Hearts one, too. I don’t know about the Tomb Raider one, though.

The rest of the interview over at Siliconera is a great read as it goes into some of the song and character choices.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is available today for the Nintendo 3DS.
