Shovel Knight continues to plow through its stretch goals, as achievements have just been unlocked! Yacht Club Games clarifies that even the 3DS and Wii U will have their own in-game achievement system, while the Steam release will follow Valve’s own rules.
So to recap, the $90,000 mark has been reached for achievements, and now the game is working its way to $100,000, which will unlock a New Game+ mode, with still over a week to go.
The Plague Knight enemy has also been revealed, which looks pretty damn awesome. There’s so much character to this game so far, I can’t wait to see what else Yacht Club has up its sleeve.
