Sequel to WiiWare’s Fluidity coming to eShop

My goodness! That Nintendo release list is filled with all sorts of goodies! Not only will I be able to channel my inner fashionista with Style Savvy: Trendsetters, I’ll be able enjoy some good ol’ liquid physics platforming fun with Fluidity: Spin Cycle.

The original Fluidity may just be the very last high-quality WiiWare game ever — I certainly can’t think of anything substantial since then, excluding La-Mulana which had its American release halted. Fluidity combined the open-world exploration of a Metroidvania with the star-collecting mechanic of Super Mario 64. As you traversed the levels, you had to shift your water glob’s state into ice or steam in order to solve various clever puzzles. It is definitely one of the best games on WiiWare, so I suggest you play it if you haven’t already done so.

Fluidity: Spin Cycle will be released on the eShop in Q4 2012, yet not so much as a title graphic has been revealed. In the meantime, enjoy the above picture of Hydro-Man.
